Vaccinations and Titre Testing

Our Vaccination Philosophy – The Minimum Vaccination Protocol
    1. Each pet will receive an individualised vaccine protocol based on lifestyle factors.
    2. Our patients will receive the minimum number of vaccines essential for their health while following evidence-based scientific principles.
    3. We will perform point-of-care titre testing on our adult patients (over 12 months of age) to determine whether we should vaccinate them with core vaccines.
    4. If a core vaccine is required, we will administer vaccines with the minimum levels of additives and preservatives available on the Australian market.
    5. We will only recommend and administer non-core vaccines when they are unavoidable for our patient's health.
    • What vaccines do you use at The Naked Vet?

    We know that many of you are concerned about additives and preservatives (e.g., Thimerosal) in the vaccines administered to your Pet.  At The Naked Vet, we strive to use vaccines with the minimum levels of additives and preservatives available on the Australian market.

    Zoetis Vanguard and FelineGuard are the vaccines of choice at the moment; however, this may change over time as new vaccine options enter the market.
