Laser Therapy

Cold lasers are a remarkable, pain-free and non-invasive technology that can improve the life of your pet whether they have an acute injury or a long-term health problem.

While many Veterinary professionals still consider laser therapy a “fringe” treatment, it is consistently gaining traction as a legitimate patient care modality.

We can use our laser to help various conditions, from skin wounds like hot spots and ear infections to joint injuries such as osteoarthritis and tendon or ligament tears.  The laser helps reduce inflammation, promotes an increased healing rate of the injured tissues, reduces wound swelling, and significantly decreases pain.

Cold laser therapy can also be used with other modalities, such as medication and physical therapy, to boost the effects of each treatment.

While we may see some improvement after the first session, it’s essential to realise that sometimes significant improvements are not observed for a few weeks, depending on the condition we are treating.
