Consultations and Wellness Checks
Just as with our own health, regular check-ups are essential in maintaining well-being & preventing chronic health issues for your pet.
Most standard biochemistry and complete blood count tests can be performed on-site, so we generally have the results in 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the test. Non-standard blood tests, some cytological samples and all samples for histopathology (generally lumps suspected of being cancerous) are sent to an external laboratory to be examined by a specialist Veterinary Pathologist.
If your pet needs any tests, we will let you know the costs and if there are any special preparation requirements for your pet before the test is performed.
